MEDIATIC CONSUMPTION OF PSYCHO-SOCIAL BURNOUT: VIOLENCE

The power, which is the biggest argument used to gain power in the society from the first stages of human history to the present, has shown itself in different forms over time. The power, which first manifested itself physically, later positioned itself economically and politically. Today, it has emerged as a paradigm that designs not only societies but the whole world with its development based on power, knowledge and technology. The phenomenon of power, which was first built on violence, has grown stronger instead of losing its power in parallel with the cultural development of human societies. The changing and developing phenomenon of violence has become a social, economic, psychological, ideological and scientific threat to living spaces and freedoms.
Educational programs for the elimination of violence dictated to cultural identity as a psycho-social element have also been ineffective, the element of violence has not been prevented, and as a result, violence has been passed down from generation to generation, commodified by mass media, and law as a socio-cultural problem that leaves the individual desperate. It has come to a position that threatens their most basic rights and freedoms.
The necessity of an interdisciplinary approach to the solution / minimization of the phenomenon of violence that has reached a universal dimension has emerged. In this context, the Symposium on Media Consumption of Psycho-Social Burnout: Violence, where the origins of the problem, its processes and strategies of struggle will be discussed.
The symposium will be held on YouTube and the participants can participate by visiting the "USOMER MEDIA" channel or using the red YouTube participation link below.
